APFA MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR 2021!

Australian prawn farming production is set to double to over 10,000 tonnes by 2023 and with this brings changes to the way we breed, grow, manage and sell farmed prawns.

This growth will impact research & development, logistics, feed demand, the supply chain and regional business trading, providing significant opportunities for investors, farmers, supply and support businesses.  In addition, our industry growth will contribute to increased payroll tax and other tax revenues flowing back to the economy (regional and national), state and federal governments.

APFA’s vision for the Australian Prawn Farm Industry is to be resilient, prosperous, sustainable, cohesive, and respected.

We support our members through:

  • Promoting safe, sustainable operations;
  • Fostering and expanding relationships with industry, stakeholders and all levels of government;
  • Providing effective communication on issue relevant to our industry;
  • Engaging in activities that shape the future of the industry;
  • Being a voice for members; and
  • Overseeing effective RD&E priorities of benefit to the industry.
